Episode 24: The one about Gen Con 2017

With our 24th episode, we bring you our Top 10 games (in no particular order, of course!) that we're looking forward to at Gen Con 2017. These could be games we want to demo (or at least watch others play) or even pick up for purchase.

The list is split into two halves: The first half consists of games that we chose that did not overlap; and the second half are games that we both chose for our lists (and combine their discussions).

Enjoy!

Episode 14: The one about games that ramp up and convention season

With a few things going on, we ended up off our typical schedule by a week. But we're finally back with Episode 14!

News (06:51)
Raiders of the North Sea and Champions of Midgard have strikingly similar Kickstarter campaigns. And Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn announced two deluxe expansions.

"it" Factor

We played Raiders of the North Sea 2-Player and give you our thoughts.

Episode 1: The one about us and our Gen Con recap

Welcome to The Boarding Party, a bi-weekly podcast about board games, card games, and all things tabletop.

We're your hosts, Jeremiah DeBenedetto and Jeff Lozito and we're thrilled to have you join us. In our podcast, we will have discussions about news, trends, and anything else that strikes our fancy in the world of tabletop gaming. In addition to those discussions, we will also talk about how games play specifically with 2 players, and do a series of Top 10s (always in no particular order).

For our first Podcast, we give you a brief introduction to us and our gaming journeys, and a Gen Con recap ... what we loved, what we didn't love, and what we learned.

Thanks for listening!
